Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that uses positive reinforcement and structured teaching to help individuals build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors. 

ABA is most commonly used to support children with autism, but it can also benefit individuals of all ages who need help with learning new skills, improving communication, or managing behavior. 

Every ABA program is individualized. A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assesses the client’s needs, sets goals, and creates a treatment plan that is carried out by trained team members. 

Sessions can include structured teaching, play-based learning, social skill practice, and real-life activities. The focus is always on the client’s goals and progress. 

The number of therapy hours depends on the client’s individual needs, age, and goals. Some may benefit from a few hours a week, while others may need more intensive support. 

Yes! Parent and caregiver involvement is an important part of ABA. Families are supported with training, coaching, and resources to help continue progress at home and in the community. 

The length of services varies depending on each person’s goals, progress, and needs. Programs are reviewed regularly and adjusted as needed. 

Many insurance plans do cover ABA services for individuals with autism. Coverage depends on your provider and policy. We can help guide you through the process.
